Passengers spend an average of 15 to 40 minutes waiting in the station. They repeatedly look straight at the large screens while resting and waiting for ticket checking. Built atop Jiaochangkou Metro Terminal for Lines 1, 2 and 6, this site serves as an essential visual gateway for tourists and commuters heading to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Shibati, Hongyadong and Bayi Food Street. It creates a natural funnel-shaped traffic flow, with over 90% of all visitors entering or leaving the commercial district guaranteed to see it.

It is directly connected to Exit A of Huayuanyuan Station at Gate 1 of Jincheng Wanda Plaza, accessible immediately upon exiting the station.
