The core passage corridor at the turnstiles in the main concourse of Universal Resort Station connects the inbound security screening area, outbound escalators and the only passage leading to Universal CityWalk. It serves as the first visual gateway for visitors heading to the resort and the final memory touchpoint for departing guests. Both inbound and returning passenger flows pass through the media zone. Visitors walk at a moderate pace with reduced moving speed, granting them ample time to view advertisement visuals. The effective viewing duration is greatly extended, enabling audiences to fully absorb advertising information.
Supported by Universal Studios which receives over ten million visitors annually, the station’s daily mixed flow of commuters and tourists far exceeds that of ordinary interchange stations, forming a prime audience group featuring high purchasing power, strong travel motivation and long dwell time. Passengers spend an average of 4 to 7 minutes inside the concourse, creating an in-depth exposure window for light box advertisements. These ads enhance picture saturation and stereoscopic perception with a visual restoration rate of over 98%, building a closed-loop communication effect that "generates pre-awareness while waiting for trains and drives conversions upon exiting the station".
Metro stations are typical enclosed spaces. Passengers can hardly avoid advertisements when entering, exiting the station or waiting for trains, enabling compulsory exposure through 360-degree all-round and three-dimensional advertising arrangements with sufficient audience gazing time. Metro riders mainly consist of commuters and regular travellers. Frequent exposures effectively strengthen brand awareness. In addition, offline advertisements achieve an average memory retention rate more than 30% higher than online advertisements.
As China's first landscape-integrated station concealed within a theme park, it boasts an expansive and distinctively designed concourse capable of holding thousands of people at maximum capacity. The oversized concourse space, comparable to those in airport terminals and high-speed railway stations, serves as an outstanding display platform for brands. The combination of curved light boxes and premium light boxes delivers striking visual impact that strikes audiences instantly, making it ideal for building brand image and creating immersive advertising scenarios.
This is China’s first landscape-style metro station supporting a theme park and the key transportation gateway to Universal Beijing Resort. Featuring a media assembly of curved light boxes paired with premium light boxes, it is installed on the wall of the main passageway that all inbound and outbound passenger flows must pass through, forming the core brand display cluster in the concourse. Comprising 4 curved light boxes and 8 premium light boxes, the facility can be integrated to form a continuous all-in-one brand display corridor, representing a rare concourse media combination at this landmark cultural tourism metro station on Beijing Subway.
This media exclusively occupies the prime corridor location in the concourse. A full package placement enables exclusive brand occupancy, free from interference by other commercial advertisements. Leveraging the powerful city-wide traffic appeal of Universal Beijing Resort and inherent viral communication potential, it delivers dual value: sustained long-term brand exposure and explosive publicity for short-term campaigns. It constitutes a premium media portfolio for extensive brand penetration among nationwide tourists and building phenomenal offline communication scenarios.
