Located in the lobby inside the domestic departure entrance, this is the first indoor exposure area for passengers entering the terminal from the drop-off viaduct. After all domestic departing passengers enter the terminal through the doors, they arrive directly at the identity verification turnstiles and security screening queuing area. Passengers face the wall-mounted media throughout the security wait with no alternative diversion routes. The audience has ample time to fully view the advertisement content, effectively strengthening brand recall.
As the only main passage before security check in Terminal 2, all domestic departing passengers must pass through this area to complete check-in and security procedures with no alternative routes. Passengers spend an average of 15–25 minutes in the lobby en route to security checkpoints, far longer than in other transit zones of the airport. The media delivers 360° all-round exposure to deepen brand impression. While completing formalities, verifying information and waiting for calls, passengers’ eyes naturally fall on the overhead media, bringing repeated exposure and in-depth brand recognition.
Different from the fast-moving passages in the airport, this area features static waiting. Passengers queue and stay for a sufficient length of time in a relaxed state with spare attention, forming a prime window for them to receive brand information. Light boxes and posters are arranged continuously along the entire wall of the security lobby, creating a neat, grand visual effect and immersive atmosphere. Advertisers can choose single-point placement or full-wall exclusive leasing, flexibly catering to diverse brand communication demands.
The lobby is the first stop for passengers entering Terminal 2. Light boxes and posters are generally placed along the mandatory traffic routes right after passengers enter the building, featuring an open and unobstructed view. They can capture passengers' attention immediately and achieve precise reach covering 100% of domestic departing passengers. The combined format of "light boxes + posters" breaks the limitations of single media. This combination delivers strong visual impact in the airport lobby, quickly drawing passengers’ attention and strengthening brand awareness.
When passengers queue up and move at a slower pace, they have ample time to process advertising information. Light boxes and posters are arranged consecutively along the walls of the security screening area to form a complete and continuous indoor visual corridor. They can be launched as an integrated package to create a unified brand atmosphere, or individual locations can be selected flexibly for separate placement. These advertising spots connect with the outdoor media on the departure viaduct, linking the communication chain of "drop-off and terminal entry — security waiting", and forming a continuous communication loop integrating outdoor and indoor media.
The domestic departure lobby of Terminal 2 serves as a prime core indoor communication hub after passengers enter the terminal. The combined light box and poster media boasts five core strengths: high exposure, long dwell time, full passenger coverage, premium texture and great flexibility. Brands can deploy full-venue advertising to build an exclusive brand scenario and generate a powerful brand atmosphere, or adopt lightweight targeted placement via separated spots. It caters to both long-term brand image building and short-term marketing campaigns.
