The central hollow airspace of the domestic security checkpoint hall is located right above the "Security Check" directional signage. All T3 domestic departing passengers pass through this area on their way to queue for security screening after completing check-in and baggage drop-off. When passengers queue and move forward slowly, their line of sight naturally drifts upward. Free of obstructions from columns and equipment, the screen can be clearly viewed from long distances and multiple angles. It also covers foot traffic passing through the mezzanine commercial area, achieving full coverage of the main flow of domestic departing passengers.
The commercial mezzanine hall serves as a key transit zone for passengers within the airport. Hanging banners are installed high up in the hall with unobstructed, wide viewing angles, achieving 100% coverage of passengers’ sightlines in this area and enabling precise reach of target audiences. Arranged in continuous rows for a neat and unified appearance, the large-format high-altitude visuals deliver strong visual impact within the enclosed airport hall environment, allowing brand images to be displayed clearly.
All passengers completing flight procedures must walk underneath. With unobstructed sightlines and no alternative bypass routes, absolute audience coverage is achieved. Passengers spend an average of 20–25 minutes queuing at check-in counters. Suspended at a height of approximately 8–10 meters directly overhead within constant sightlines, these installations create dominant high-altitude visual presence for sustained delivery of brand messages. They boast a markedly higher message retention rate than ground or wall-mounted advertisements and stand out prominently in the spacious check-in hall.
Suspended in the atrium of the terminal hall, the media installation breaks free from restrictions imposed by ground columns and walls and avoids obstruction by passengers, luggage and facilities. Before passengers reach the security queuing area, they can view the overhead advertisement from a distance, with visibility spanning the entire security queue route. Unlike wall-mounted light box media, the suspended layout offers multi-dimensional viewing angles, enabling visibility for passenger flows moving both forward and backward. It greatly expands the effective exposure range and forms a highly recognizable overhead visual landmark within the hall.
The open and transparent void area of the hall has relatively few scattered advertising spots around. The overhead hanging banners deliver clean and prominent visuals and are unlikely to be confused with various directional signs. Their large, standardized frames are ideal for displaying high-quality visuals. Endorsed by the premium setting of Xiamen Airport, the media fully demonstrates brand strength and meets the image communication demands of mid-to-high-end brands covering automobiles, finance, high-end real estate, fine wine, cultural tourism, home furnishings and more.
It precisely covers all domestic departing passengers at Terminal 3, mainly consisting of business travelers, enterprise operators and high-net-worth tourists. The target audience boasts strong purchasing power, high brand awareness and independent consumption decision-making capability. While waiting casually in the security queue without the pressure of rushing, passengers are more receptive to information both actively and passively, leading to strong brand memory retention, making this a premium communication venue with distinct characteristics.
