Songjiazhuang Station is one of the few three-line interchange stations on the Beijing Subway, attracting massive commuter flows. The U-shaped zone is generally situated on the essential paths for passengers entering/exiting the station or transferring, where passengers spend extended time lingering and walking. Large-scale immersive visual presentation delivers striking visual impact to passing passengers, enabling high-frequency and long-duration brand exposure and effectively striking a chord with audiences.
Located along the vital traffic routes for incoming, outgoing and bidirectional transfer passengers, it covers all pedestrians passing through the station concourse. Songjiazhuang handles over 190,000 daily transfer passengers, ranking it among the largest interchange stations nationwide. Boasting mature surrounding commercial amenities and serving as an interchange hub for multiple metro lines, it covers a large group of young urban white-collar workers and commuters with strong purchasing power, allowing brands to precisely reach target consumers and achieve efficient brand communication.
Leveraging the natural spatial structure of the station concourse, this U-shaped vinyl wrapping forms a continuous three-sided wraparound display surface with seamlessly connected and highly integral visuals. Different from conventional single-spot or single-wall advertising formats, it can be spotted by passengers from side views. The repeated exposure rate exceeds 70% within passengers’ 3–5 minute stay, greatly improving brand memory retention, with an effective viewing distance ranging from 50 to 300 meters.
Different from traditional flat light boxes, the U-shaped enclosed structure creates an enveloping communication space. Passengers are continuously exposed to brand visuals as they move through the area, enabling multi-angle and all-round exposure. The extra-large continuous picture frame breaks free from the size constraints of conventional posters and supports panoramic images, creative extensions and scenario-based visual design. Walls naturally fall within passengers’ line of sight during transit, delivering high attention rates and easily generating memorable impressions, making this space ideal for building an internet-famous check-in brand exhibition area inside the station.
The eastern side of the station hall mainly consists of transfer passages and escalator clusters, connecting the underground transfer concourse for Line 5, Line 10 and Yizhuang Line with heavy passenger flow. At present, this area only features standard directional signs, safety reminder floor stickers and automatic escalator barriers, without any brand advertisements, art walls or customized films. It enables repeated exposure multiple times, extending the advertising influence to commercial districts and residential areas along the entire transit line and effectively improving the overall return on advertising investment.
Leveraging the hub transfer advantages, passengers spend ample time walking and waiting for transfers in the station hall, engaging with advertising visuals frequently and for extended periods. This effectively avoids the drawbacks of fleeting and superficial contact typical of outdoor advertisements. Daily commuters, weekend travelers and business visitors pass by this location repeatedly. High-frequency repeated exposure facilitates in-depth information penetration, embedding brand messages steadily in audiences’ minds. The advertisements can readily capture public attention and rapidly strengthen brand recall.
