Located on the west exterior facade of the Greater China International Finance Centre at No. 1003 Shennan Boulevard, the light box boasts an unobstructed and expansive view from its outer surface. It directly faces two-way traffic on Caitian Road and the main traffic flow of Shennan Boulevard, offering ample visible distance for motorists. Meanwhile, it reaches a massive stream of commuter foot traffic from Gangxia North Station, a four-line metro interchange hub. The consistent and stable exposure benefits from the combined flow of vehicles and pedestrians. Adjacent to the major urban artery of Caitian Road and backed by Hilton Hotel, super Grade-A office towers and a cluster of high-end serviced apartments, this premium static backlit outdoor light box media is a scarce resource in the area.
Greater China IFC is a landmark mixed-use business complex in the district. Distinct from the renowned 100-metre LED Bay Screen on the building’s eastern side, the media installation on the west side faces passenger flows from Gangxia North Hub and commuter vehicle traffic from the western CBD, creating a complementary landmark media layout spanning east and west. Facing due west, it delivers an effective viewing distance of over 500 metres and reaches more than 150,000 vehicles and pedestrians on an average day, establishing a city-scale dynamic visual focal point.
As one of Shenzhen’s rare four-line interchange hubs, Gangxia North Station draws commuters of Lines 2, 10, 11 and 14. It covers cross-regional business office workers, business travellers and government service visitors from Bao’an, Nanshan, Longhua and Longgang Districts. Passenger flow remains steady from morning rush hour through evening hours. Within this densely commercial zone, a neat, aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching light box stands out more easily, helping convey a brand’s professional value while boosting consumer recall and brand recognition.
The light box is installed in front of the west facade of the building. There are no tall trees, low structures or pedestrian crossing facilities to block the line of sight, offering unobstructed viewing angles from multiple directions. Both vehicles traveling on the road and pedestrians on the sidewalk can easily view the media visuals. As a highly recognizable landmark complex in Futian CBD with strong credentials as an urban business landmark, brands that place advertisements at this location can leverage the inherent high-end business aura of the landmark building to subtly elevate their brand tier and convey a professional, premium brand positioning.
The west-side light box excels at long-term static high-quality brand image display, making it ideal for sustained cultivation of brand tonality. Combined brand campaigns can deliver a synergistic effect of "short-duration dynamic buzz generation plus long-term static image consolidation". Even standalone placement at the west location enables brands to seize exclusive visual resources on the western side of the CBD at a relatively moderate advertising cost, forge unique brand recall points and achieve full-spectrum brand communication coverage.
The media installations on the east and west sides of Greater China IFC form an optimal complementary communication setup. The giant east-side LED screen features dynamic naked-eye 3D effects, suited for short-term campaign momentum building and traffic surges, while the west-side light box focuses on static premium texture and long-duration image display for deepening brand tonality. Brands may opt for combined placement to attain dual outcomes of "short-term buzz surge and long-term brand image solidification". Standalone placement allows brands to capture the scarce exclusive visual resources on the CBD’s western flank, bypass homogeneous competition among large LED screens and craft distinctive brand memory anchors.
