Located directly above the shops on both sides of the East Exit, the horizontally through-type wall-mounted screens face the passenger exit flow and the sightline axis of escalators, creating an unobstructed and all-round visual enclosure. Two horizontally through-type screens are embedded above the shops flanking the exit passage to form a 360° visual coverage. All passengers must pass through this area with no alternative routes, enabling 100% forced exposure. This is one of the largest commercial LED screen installations among high-speed railway exit passages nationwide.
As a top-tier comprehensive high-speed rail hub in the Yangtze River Delta, Hangzhou East Railway Station records an annual arrival and departure passenger volume of over 143 million. Its average daily arrival passenger flow on regular days hits 376,500, while the peak single-day passenger flow during holidays exceeds 719,000. The passenger group at the East Exit features distinct identity and superior consumption quality, mainly consisting of cross-provincial tourists traveling between Shanghai and Ningbo, local homeowners living in Chengdong and Xiaoshan, long-distance returnees, and industrial business professionals from the Qiantang area, with a high proportion of middle-to-high-end consumers who possess strong purchasing power.
Passengers spend 3 to 9 minutes waiting for escalators or walking during transfers. After arriving at the station, they are in a relaxed mood with focused attention. The screens offer unobstructed full-view visibility that passengers cannot avoid, forming a natural forced exposure scenario. This core strategic spot enables brands to capture all inbound passenger flow in eastern Hangzhou. Unlike the rushed atmosphere at station entrances, passengers here can fully absorb brand messages, greatly improving advertising memory retention and delivering more solid and long-lasting communication effects.
The large screen faces the main pedestrian route leading from exit turnstiles to the East Square directly, fully covering all arriving passengers heading for taxis, online car-hailing services, long-distance passenger transport in the East Square, and the P1/P2 underground parking lots as well as Metro Lines 6 and 19. With no passenger flow diversion and zero visual obstructions, it serves as the core visual focal point throughout passengers’ entire journey of exiting the station, waiting for escalators and transferring transport, functioning as the first brand exposure window for visitors arriving in eastern Hangzhou.
The media features a horizontal display layout installed at a high position surrounded by an upscale, bright and unobstructed environment. This design delivers an extremely wide viewing range and excellent sightlines. It stands out prominently in the passenger-crowded arrival hall, effectively capturing passengers’ attention and guaranteeing efficient communication and deep memorization of advertising messages.
As a rare dual-screen dynamic media set on the arrival floor of East Railway Station, it precisely targets all transfer passenger groups across the East Square. Leveraging the official credibility of this Asian transport hub, it supports multiple purposes including long-term brand image placement for commercial enterprises, urban cultural tourism promotion, and government-enterprise public welfare publicity. Synchronized playback on both screens creates an immersive visual impact, catering to all types of advertising demands such as in-depth regional brand cultivation, short-term promotional campaigns for festivals, and urban image dissemination. Together with the large screen at the West Exit, it forms a media matrix covering passenger flows from both east and west sides of the station.
