The full name of the media is Shenzhen Bay 'Eye of the Sea' 8K Outdoor Mega Screen. It is located at the Dadi Plaza of Shenzhen Bay Sports Center in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, positioned at the intersection of the Houhai Financial Headquarters Base and Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters, seamlessly connected to Shenzhen Bay MixC Phase I and II. It links via sky corridors and underground passages, forming a four-dimensional flow network of business headquarters, luxury retail, coastal cultural tourism, and sports & exhibitions. It is right next to the luxury shopping area of Shenzhen Bay MixC, China Resources Spring Bamboo Tower, and Shenzhen Talent Park, making it a benchmark outdoor digital landmark in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Direct access from Houhai Station on Metro Lines 2 and 11, with an underground passage connecting to the screen plaza. The average daily metro commuter flow is 80,000 people. A 2-kilometer elevated pedestrian corridor connects Spring Bamboo Tower, Talent Park, and Poly Theater, continuously guiding walking traffic across landmarks. Peak hours cause slow movement and some lingering. Daily vehicle flow is 900,000, peaking at 1.2 million on weekends, covering self-driving commuters and high-end business traffic.
The only giant curved 8K landmark screen along the Shenzhen Bay coastal skyline, with no high-rise building blocking the view. It is fully visible from four directions: main roads, plaza, coastal path, and sky corridor, naturally occupying the primary visual anchor point of the bay area. The display area is 2,188㎡ with an ultra-wide curved facade, fully visible from 360° around the plaza, main roads, and coastal pathways. The skyline features Spring Bamboo Tower in the frame, visually overpowering ordinary commercial district LEDs.
As a landmark media in the city, it uses industry-leading HD full-color LED technology, delivering clear and delicate color reproduction and smooth dynamic visuals. It’s not just a platform for commercial advertising but also serves as a city visual landmark for Shenzhen Bay, handling functions like city image promotion and large-scale event theme displays. Leveraging Shenzhen Bay’s strategic location, it has become a key outdoor media node for showcasing the city and brand communication.
The screen is paired with a super-large open square, a rare space in Shenzhen Bay that allows for integrated marketing with online giant screen exposure and offline activities like car shows, product launches, brand pop-ups, art markets, and city festivals. Packages combining “full-day screen usage + offline event space” can be sold, which command a much higher premium than selling individual time slots, perfectly solving the traditional outdoor advertising pain point of “exposure without offline conversion.”
This giant screen is located at the Spring Cocoon Earth Square in the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, right in the heart of Shenzhen Bay and near Hong Kong. As a landmark tech and innovation screen in Nanshan District, it’s not only a dazzling “tech jewel” embedded by the bay but also a direct showcase of Nanshan’s strong tech innovation capabilities, offering high city-level exposure and regional reach.
