The light show is located on the south side of Xinghai Square in the High-tech Zone of Dalian and is known as the 'Number One Screen of Dalian Landmarks.' It utilizes the entire 210-meter-high building facade to present a stunning city-level light and shadow performance with an extremely wide visual coverage area, visible almost unobstructed along the entire coastline from Binhai Road in the east to Lingshui Bay in the west. The building features a very high display density, capable of presenting clear and delicate dynamic images and text, delivering a strong visual impact.
A landmark night scene on the city cover of Dalian, the 'Number One Screen of Landmarks,' it also serves as a city's cultural and tourism card and a top-tier outdoor advertising platform. It is the only super high-rise landmark at the western bridgehead of the Xinghai Bay Cross-Sea Bridge, standing as the highest point on the 210-meter skyline, dominating the three-dimensional core of Xinghai Bay, Lingshui Bay, and the Cross-Sea Bridge, with 360° unobstructed coverage over sea, land, and air extending 10 kilometers, unattainable by any other outdoor media.
The Cross-Sea Bridge carries about one-third of the traffic of Dalian's main urban area, with an average of more than 30,000 vehicles passing daily and reaching over 400,000 people daily. It is adjacent to Lingshui Bay Park and Xinghai Bay Scenic Area, where peak tourist traffic can exceed 800,000 visits per day, reaching 146 million people annually. The South Sea Center light show has the advantage of a 360° transparent view, radiating along the entire area from Lingshui Bay to Xinghai Bay. Whether on the bridge, by the sea, or surrounding office buildings, almost the entire screen can be viewed unobstructed, with high integrity of display.
As a key demonstration project for Dalian's night economy and urban lighting, leveraging the skyline advantage of a 210-meter super high-rise, it creates an immersive coastal light and shadow visual matrix. It is the only top-tier outdoor media in the bay area capable of full coverage from sea, land, and air perspectives, focusing on high-end brand image display, city cultural and tourism promotion, and customized light and shadow event marketing. Its media specifications and communication scale consistently rank in the first tier of Dalian’s outdoor media.
The location enjoys a massive and stable high-end traffic flow, with an average daily footfall of 400,000 people and 30,000 vehicle passages, covering cross-sea bridge commuting traffic, coastal tourism flow, high-tech zone business white-collar workers, highly educated university groups, and high-end tourists from outside Dalian. The audience as a whole has characteristics of high education, high income, strong consumption power, and high decision-making ability. The quality of the crowd far exceeds that of ordinary urban commercial districts and precisely suits the investment needs of high-end industries such as luxury cars, luxury brands, high-end real estate, and city image promotion.
This light show embodies three core values: city public welfare promotion, high-end commercial communication, and social viral dissemination, distinguishing it from traditional outdoor LED media. It is a rare core media resource for high-end brands to deeply cultivate the Dalian market and shape top-tier brand images. Relying on its large scale, immersive light and shadow effects, and coastal landmark attributes, it inherently carries a high-end brand tone and topic dissemination attribute, making it easy to trigger user check-ins and secondary short video sharing, significantly enhancing brand exposure both in breadth and depth.
